Its been in beta for a few months and we have covered its predecessor a week or so ago.
The good news 2.4 is packed with loads of great features.

Including:

  • Capability to serve billions of ads per month
  • Smoother campaign delivery and prioritisation
  • Easy integration with leading applications: Track Google and Yahoo! clicks
  • Enhanced targeting and campaign management
  • Better reporting capability

You can compare the versions with this handy comparison chart.

Of particular interest at least for me is ‘Agency Level Management Login’ having scalable permissions for users is great if you are running advertisements on multiple blogs and sites for many clients.

What’s more its still free!

I think OpenAds grown enough so we should consider using it more.

I used to use it in the past, but I had stoped due to security issues, but now it looks ok.

The new version is very stable, I upgraded yesterday our main server with almost no problems which I was rather pleased. We will be doing a how to upgrade post very soon.

As Tim said he upgraded our server yesterday and today I have my head in the manual so to speak.

What’s great is the new Agency management which allows us seperate clients campaigns from each other completely so they in turn can run campaigns with their own advertisers and affiliates.

I’m still setting up Our affiliate tracking bits but so far everything has gone well integrating the two systems.
